What’s this? Another new episode of Pedantic Handwavium so soon? That’s right listeners! Just for you we decided to release a second episode in one day! This special second launch day episode is on breakfast cereal mascots. We will be discussing how so many anthropomorphic animal mascots, like Tony the Tiger and the Trix rabbit, came to exist. We also come to realize the sad fate of Lucky (from Lucky Charms fame). And did you really think the Raisin Bran mascot, Sunny, was an anthropomorphic sun? Not according to our rigorous thought experiments. Join us as we dive down this terrifying rabbit hole and experience a more free form episode that isn’t rooted in an established series’ mythos.
